Ginger Gamble Martel

Ginger Gamble Martel is a 20 year veteran of the stage, performing in theaters across the country. Ginger has studied voice with teachers from the Levine School of Music (Charles Williams), San Francisco Conservatory of Music (Herman LeRoux), Huntingdon College (Dr. James Glass), Samford University (Dr. Bill Bugg) and locally with Katy Galindo. She moved to Texas 5 years ago and has been working steadily in local productions since then. Favorite musical roles include Velma Von Tussle (Hairspray), Fruma Sarah (Fiddler on the Roof), Sharon (Finian’s Rainbow, Elly Award Lead Actress in a Musical), Cinderella (Into the Woods) Amneris (Disney’s Aida), Hedy LaRue (How to Suceed in Business Without Really Trying), and Fraulein Kost (Cabaret). Favorite operatic roles include Pamina (The Magic Flute), Sandman and Dewfairy (Hansel and Gretel) and Mary (The Cabildo). When she isn’t at rehearsal, Ginger works as the Managing Director of CYT SA-NB and teaches private voice from her studio in New Braunfels.
